My second last day here, still got a lot of stories to finish and maybe a few new ones will come up.

The day has gone to the normal plan, just ringing people chasing things up including a charity golf day which is an awesome story for juvenile diabetes, so people in the Wynnum area September 27 is the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Golf Day try and get down to support, great cause.

I also get to do a story on former Brisbane Lions AFL Player Darryl White and his family who I am pretty good friends with which is awesome.

I had to do my first advert story which was confusing to say the least, they are way harder than a normal news story so many different things you have to get in rather than just the facts etc.

But this was delayed for a little bit by the other stories I was doing and by the unavailability of a person on the phone which was actually quite good. This meant I got to work on it at home and get it done there which was good to get it out of the way.

Also get to do follow ups on basketball stories that I worked on last week which is good.

However I think there maybe a few stories I don’t get done before I leave due to the amount of stories I already have.

The day would even get better with Josh (sports reporter) and myself getting the chance to chase up the signing of Andrew Bogut an australian NBA star signing in the NBL here in Oz.

Which was exhilirating!!

Such a good day!!
