Why is it when younger people commit crimes with an older youth, EG. two 13 year old girls and a nine year old girl broke into a railway station, only the older youths get charged. I think the younger one(s) should also be charged. How else will they learn what they have done is wrong???
Is this from a particular event, or just in general? I think there’s a lot of ethical decisions to be made, especially when the age of the children is really quite young. There must have been some repercussions for the smaller ones?
Yeah there have been a few crimes that were committed by youths and there were a couple of older kids and a younger one. The older teens (12 or 13 years old) were charged and the younger tween (9 years old) was not. The only repercussions for the younger children were whatever their parents dealt out.
